Ah the beauty that was art. Even though the gallery was full of critics, fans, and connoisseurs of the fine arts alike at the moment there was still a calm to it. The buzz was due to a new painting being unveiled today, and unbeknownst to anyone but the owners and staff of the Gallery the painter of this particular item was sitting nearby behind the crowd. The crowd of onlookers waiting to see what new piece to join the collection in Brack's Gallery of Fine Arts. Buyers waiting to see if the piece was worth their interest and if they could tempt the Gallery into selling it to them. All the while the white haired artist sat silently behind them sketching the scene unfolding before him.
Vittorio Caro Alduino was that artist. Wearing an exceptionally clean looking white suit to match his hair, blue shirt, belt, and shoes that matched the tattoo under his left eye, and a white tie he simply sat there amusing himself with his sketching. He had just came back to the Brack after a few years of traveling around the Northern countries. He had literally returned earlier this day and was met by the owner of this gallery as he stepped off of the plane. It seemed that his parents had let slip he was on his way and that they were hoping to acquire some of his new pieces. After some thought and some coffee the white haired artist relented and handed over the portrait they were now revealing. Vitto was planning on visiting the gallery now that he was back in the Brack anyways, but having been sought out first was a nice feeling. It also didn't hurt that he would earn a nice amount of money for handing over the piece.
It was now that the curtains were opened and the awaited painting revealed. A portrait of a snow covered forest, with a small family of wolves hidden amongst the trees. A mother wolf huddled up with her three cubs in slumber. The scene was majestic and serene, and it was hard for even Vitto to believe that he had actually seen such a thing in person during his travels. Talk suddenly commenced as the onlookers hastily went into deliberation about the painting. There was excited and hurried chatter all around, and Vitto not could help but smile as he went to finish his sketch off by adding the energy of the conversations the people in front of his newly unveiled painting were having. He was glad that they seemed to like it and while the staff were waiting for everyone to quiet down so that they could acknowledge him as the painter amongst other things they needed to explain about the piece. For now though Vitto was happy just watching their reactions from the bench he was sitting on and couldn't help but voice his feelings on the day and being back in the Brack. "It's such a beautiful day." he said while he made the finishing touches to his sketch.

Much to the woman's surprise she had the day off from her overpowering life. It rarely gave her any time to go out and socialize or just enjoy a day without stress. The blonde stood within the group of people, staring up at the curtain, waiting for it to be stripped so her eyes could lay upon the new piece of art. She was quite excited to rest her blue irises upon it, sharing the same enthusiasm as those around her. It seemed like time couldn't move fast enough. Her head turned to gaze behind her, and through the cracks and crevices of those around her she saw a man sitting alone on a bench. He appeared to be working on something.
The art was revealed while her back was turned. The gasps and sounds of enthusiasm caused her to turn her head at an alarming pace. Her heart raced in her chest as her eyes lay upon such a beautiful piece of art. She couldn't help but keep her mouth from gaping a bit in such awe. To keep from looking utterly ridiculous, she closed her mouth and replaced the look of awe with a cheerful smile. The people were suddenly full of life as they talked about the work of art. The sound of chitter-chatter was thick in her ears, beating against the inside of her head. With a small sigh she worked her way back to the man who sat alone on the bench, her blonde hair trailing behind her. "You wouldn't mind some company, would you?" Her voice was soft and polite as it escaped parted lips. Piercing blue eyes rested on the young man who seemed diligently at work.
Her head turned to look back at the painting. The colors were glorious. She wondered if there was a story behind this. The wolves in the snowy backdrop caught her breath in her throat every time she looked at it. Bright blue gaze landed back upon the young man, another smile creeping onto her lips. "Quite a beautiful painting, wouldn't you agree?" More soft words came from her lips. She sure hoped she wasn't bothering him. How embarrassing that would be. The young lawyer was just enjoying her time off, doing her best to socialize with a world she barely knew existed while she was dealing with crime in the court system. I took a moment for an answer to come. The white haired young man had looked up, but instead of responding right away he studied the face of the woman who had approached him. Looked deep into her blue eyes with his own light blue irises staring back. "I don't mind at all Miss." said the young artist when he finally spoke and slid down the bench a bit to accommodate her presence. He then absentmindedly flipped the page of the book in his hands and began sketching once more. His subject this time was this woman who had broken away from the pack and decided to speak with him. He hadn't really planned to do such a thing, but as an artist he had learned to just go with his urges when they came and so this impromptu sketch had begun to take form.
He continued to look upon the woman even stopping the scraping of his pencil's for a moment when she turned away again. It was likely obvious to the woman at this point that he was staring at her, examining her, that she was the subject of his latest impromptu project, but Vittorio could not bring himself to care at this moment. True he did not want to make her feel uncomfortable but he also didn't want this chance to let his artistic passion out to pass by him. That being said this was the only choice for him in order to not be angry with himself later, and if things seemed weird or got out of hand he would explain himself to his new acquaintance later. Once he introduced himself it would all make sense, which gave him another idea.
The stranger then asked another question. Another long pause as the white haired artist did not open his mouth to speak until his eyes had gotten his fill of this woman and his sketch of her was completed. "Yes I think it turned out well. I'm very glad that you like it. Although....." he paused for a moment and scribbled some more onto the sketch he had just finished of her. He then removed the sketch from the book and handed it to the stranger, he hoped it wouldn't seem to weird to simply just sketch a woman he had just met, though giving it to her was somewhat of a piece offering to her as well as a way of introducing himself. For the last few scribbles of his pencil that had occurred was Vittorio adding his signature to the sketch, the same signature that was upon the painting of the wolves within the snowy forest that had just been unveiled. "Yes, as I was saying. I'm glad that everyone here seems to like it. As I saw it firsthand I was afraid my painting wouldn't do it justice and would end up a disaster." he said revealing a very calm yet warm smile. He wondered if she had understood that he was introducing himself in a strange way, understood that she was meeting the artist of the hour Vittorio Alduino, and even received a small present from him.

She gladly took a spot next to him after he scooted down. "Why thank you." She said gently, a warm smile growing upon her lips. Her hands pressed down on her dress, to keep it from wrinkling when she sat down on it. Her hands were soon folded neatly in her lap. Her eyes were set straight ahead, getting lost in the soft colors of the painting once more. She could feel a set of eyes burning into her being. Her eyes glanced over at the young man, noticing how intently he was watching her. A faint blush rested upon her cheeks. Getting attention from anyone was out of the ordinary, since most of her time was spent working.
He seemed to be busy working on something else, and she almost felt bad for bugging him. She couldn't help shake the feeling that he was watching her like a hawk. It crept up on her every time she stopped thinking about something else. His next set of words confused her. He was speaking as if it was his. The sound of the paper being ripped from the book of paper made her head turn once again at an amazingly fast pace. She gazed down at the sketch. It was of her. Her eyes grew wide and held a charming sparkle in them as she admired it with much care in her eyes. Another blush came to her cheeks. When he spoke again it snapped her from her spell. She looked back up at him, catching his warm smile. So he was the artist.
Her heart began to beat at an alarming pace. Her eyes went back down to the paper, admiring how beautifully she had been drawn. "So you're Vittorio Alduino. Oh gosh. What an honor." She chimed with a beaming smile. "Thank you so much for this. It's beautiful." The words spewed past her lips at an amazing pace. It was probably impossible to understand her. Where were those manners she was taught as a child? "I'm sorry, I believe I have failed at introducing myself." The lawyer said softly. "I'm Anemone, Anemone Price." Her words came out gently; sheepishly. The young woman was so embarrassed for acting like such a child, drooling over this young man like he was God.

"Yes, I as you say I am Vittorio Alduino. Feel free to simply call me Vittorio if you will however, Miss Price." he said still smiling warmly. He was glad that she liked his sketch of her, his painting, and that she hadn't seemed disturbed by his random urge to draw her. However that didn't stop him from showcasing one of his bad habits still, as he was about to speak again and hadn't really thought about what he was saying. "As for the drawing it's no big deal. You are naturally very pretty so it wasn't that hard to make the sketch portray that beauty." he said still smiling warmly and not thinking about how he his words might have been taken. He wasn't trying to flirt with her or tease her, as always Vittorio just had a bad habit of saying what was on his mind without any regard to how Anemone might take it.
Vittorio now took another glance at the crowd and stood up for a moment, leaving his sketch book behind on the bench. "I'll be right back Miss Price. If you are still here when I return, I would be happy to talk more." he said with a smile as he began to approach the crowd around his painting. The staff had just gestured to him and announced him as the creator of the painting, so he was now swallowed into the crowd. He smiled and nodded, shook hands, and answered questions for quite some time. In reality it was only about ten minutes before he pulled himself back out of the crowd, though it had felt like much longer. He could have sworn he had shaken everyone's hand twice each, asked what was the next big piece he was working on at least ten times. Some of the more serious collectors even invited him to diner and asked if he wouldn't like to donate one of the pieces he hadn't donated to them for their private collections for a small fortune. In the end he said he would come back to the gallery sometime soon and they could talk business then, he had no desire to be amongst socialites at the moment.
"Sorry for the delay Miss Price. Now where were we?" he said after he pulled himself away from the crowd and returned to sitting back on the bench next to his new acquaintance. "Ah yes, the Honor is all mine. I'm always glad to meet knew and interesting people whether they be fans of my art or not." he said calmly. "Though I be you are wondering why I'm taking a special interest in you amongst this crowd....." he began nodding back to the people still around the painting and those who were no doubt still watching him. "Well that answer is simple. You took the time to come talk to me, BEFORE you knew who I was." he said adding his warm smile to his lips once more as he finished speaking. He never thought he was anyone special, so he didn't like being treated like someone famous all the time. So in times like this where people took the time to speak to him before he could introduce himself, he found himself most entertained. He was no one special, and liked to make new friends and have interesting conversations just like everyone else.

The next set of words that chimed through her ears made another bright blush tint her cheeks. "Thank you." She responded lightly. Getting compliments from the opposite sex were always quite the shock for her. She never had time for a relationship, and she wasn't sure she ever would. Her busy lifestyle was good at making sure of that. It was odd enough to say that she didn't really have any friends. The only person she kept in touch with was her father, especially since he had grown lonely since the death of her mother. This caused her gaze to look down at the locket she wore, checking to see if it was still there, as if it could run away.
Her heart dropped a bit as he said he was going to be gone for a little while. "No worries." She said with a sweet smile. Her eyes watched him leave, flickering between him and the sketchbook he had left behind. Curiosity began to bubble inside her, but she kept her hands neatly folded in her lap. It wasn't good to be nosy. The crowd grew so excited to see the owner of this work of art make his appearance within them. They drooled over him like he was some sort of God. The sight made her giggle quietly to herself. Of course she had just been doing the same thing, but that wasn't the point. She simply began to treat him like a normal human being after a couple minutes rolled by. Because that's what he was, and she was sure he liked to be treated as such.
The young artist returned to her, sitting down on the bench beside her. Right where he had left her. Words spewed from his mouth, and she smiled brightly as she listened to each word that came from parted lips. She was happy to hear those last few sentences. "Well, you just stuck out." She admitted with a slight smile. "Everyone else was in awe of that beautiful picture, yet you just sat here." The words she spoke were true, but not in a mean way. There was nothing wrong with the fact that he was sitting here by himself. She wouldn't want to be stuck in that crowd either. "Plus, whether you're an artist or an actor, you're still human, and I'm sure you like to be treated as such." Oddly enough he didn't seem like the kind of guy that begged for attention, which she was quite impressed with. Being a lawyer got her no special attention. Not yet at least.

"Yes I suppose I do stick out quite a bit. Not a part of the main crowd but still dressed like this." he said and gestured to the suit he was wearing. "You'd think someone would have noticed me earlier...." he said his voice trailing off as he shrugged his shoulders. He then retrieved his sketch pad and set it in his lap. His inspiration had run out for this exact second, but he liked to keep the book close to him just in case the urge to draw consumed him once more. Though at this exact moment he was more interested in the conversation he was having for his random inspirational urges to push through.
"I know I keep saying this, but I'm glad everyone liked the painting. Even if it meant I go ignored. You see I don't put my work on public display very often, and even less often than that do I stick around for the unveilings. I'm usually long gone by then, and it's months before I hear about the public opinion of my work." he said calmly and sat there quietly for a moment as his superb memory flashed through all the art pieces he had ever given up and what he had heard about them since. "This is actually the first time in about a year I have given up a painting, and I believe only the second time ever I have been there for an unveiling. Which I guess is why I'm not surprised that no one recognized me."
"So Miss Price, tell me. What brings you here today? Were you excited a new piece was being unveiled? Or are you just an art lover and decided today was as good a day as any to stop by...." he then though about what he was saying and decided it best he take a few steps back. "Forgive me if I am prying to much, you do not have to answer if you do not want to. I just have a very good memory and on a day like today where I met a beautiful woman under such interesting circumstances, I can tell it will be something that I remember. So I was just hoping to add a bit of a back story to that memory, but do forgive me if you believe I'm being to forward or rude." he said and once again he ahd realized what exactly he was saying.
His words were not meant to tease her or flirt with her, in fact Vittorio didn't even know what flirting was or what it entailed. They were just words, and this was part of Vitto's bad habit. He had spoken a bit carelessly and in trying to catch himself and correct it, he hadn't fixed much and instead probably sounded like he was hitting on her or something though he himself didn't realize it and hadn't been trying to do anything but hold a decent conversation with his new acquaintance. He would really have to do his best to correct these bad habits of his in the future, once his brain caught up and realized what he was doing that is. Until then Vitto simply sat there still wearing his calm and friendly smile while waiting on Anemone to reply to his words in whatever way she chose.
