CLASS. racketeer OCCUPATION. gangster-type things, of course. smuggling booze, weapons, robbing banks, stuff like that. oh, he also does magic at the casinos. so i guess you could also say he's a magician. the skull beneath the skin STRENGTHS. SMART; if there's a riddle to solve, or a problem in need of a solution, aldric will know what to do. SUAVE; a smooth-talker, persuasive, mr daley could talk anyone into doing just about anything. and he does. TRUSTWORTHY; though he may seem a bit off, aldric is one man that'll always have your back. EFFICIENT; he always knows the quickest and easiest way to accomplish things, whether it's negotiating a hostage situation or grocery shopping. sometimes both. ORGANIZED; borderline OCD, the man likes to know where everything is, and though somethings may be perfectly aligned or in specific piles, everything has a certain place where it's meant to be. WEAKNESSES. SECRETIVE; though he doesn't have much to hide, if aldric knows something that he believes no one else should, he'll take the knowledge to his grave. SELFISH; he knows what he wants, and will do anything to get it, and keep it to himself. VAIN; public appearance is very important to aldric, whether he's 'keeping face' or looking neatly groomed. PROCRASTINATOR; though he does know how to get things done, the man will put off anything he can for as long as possible, until the very last minute. MANIPULATIVE; mr. daley won't stop until he has someone bend to his every whim, and there's nothing he won't resort to doing. LIKES. BREAKFAST FOOD; pancakes, french toast, regular toast, cereal. if it's something people eat in the morning, aldric will eat it for breakfast, lunch and dinner. MAGAZINES; the thin glossy pages, the beautiful pictures, no matter the subject aldric will buy a magazine, clipping out his favorite pictures and articles and putting them up on his wall. PEOPLE; it's amazing how despite the thousands and thousands of people in Brack, each one is different and unique. PLANTS; there's at least five pots in the man's house with something green growing in it. WHIMSY; it's a nice thing to have in life. one way aldric brings whimsy into his life is by hanging paper cranes and wind chimes in his home, then opening all the windows to let the wind blow them around. LITTLE BOYS; he just can't help himself. DISLIKES. COLD FOOD; if food was meant to be cold, people wouldn't have made fire. ANIMALS; nasty, smelly, dirty creatures. RESPONSIBILITY; a heavy burden that alric rather not carry, whether it's taking care of a friend's pet or a relationship, aldric isn't to keen on being responsible for things. SPOILED PEOPLE; though he may be a bit spoiled himself, the man will not hesitate to metaphorically slap someone upside the head if they're acting spoiled. SILENCE; a horribly awkward thing, if no conversation is going on, then by God aldric will make conversation. ANYTHING ELSE. MAGIC; his trade, and also a hobby. he can make anything- or anyone- disappear. sometimes they don't come back. DEFACING PUBLIC PROPERTY; namely, going to the library and writing side notes in the book margins. or drawing mustaches on pictures, if there are any. the faded memory PERSONAL ITEMS. BAT; a simple wooden baseball bat, aldric keeps it behind his door, in case any fool would dare break into his home. GLASSES; a simple pair of glasses, though they help mr daley see things more clearly, he doesn't wear them in his home, or sometimes when he's doing his magic acts. THREE; to be added.
