Truth be told, Felix wasn't the kind of person who was really concerned about others. People told him things when he was't listening, preoccupied by some melody or another in his head rather than what was in front of him, and it turned out to be quite a bother. He would do his best to remember this bit of information, though, because it was important. If only as a day where he would be able to eat cake.
But enough thinking about cake - there was plenty of time to do that later. The man had sat up, disrupting the very comfortable assemblage of pillows and closeness, and you know, Felix was a bit put off by that.
"Not really, I'm more tired than anything else." It had been a long day. Putting up with idiots would take it out of anyone. And he really was quite comfortable where he was - even the prospect of food was too much of a hassle to bother getting up for. The cute little kitten seemed to think the same, because (he? she? it?) had found a new place next to the boy to curl up. He could feel the vibrations of the purring through his uniform, and found it strangely comforting.
"You can eat if you're hungry. I think I'll just... I'll just stay here." There was no harm in being lazy, was there? Especially after what he'd been through today. It had been pretty awful, all things considered - so surely he was allowed to be a little selfish. He absently stroked the cat's fur as he thought, wishing he could get his hair feeling so soft.
It was all he could do to just keep his eyes open. It really was stiflingly comfortable inside the makeshift fort.
