No New Posts LAND LINES

Now while not exactly portable, a phone's a phone - who would use the thing for anything more than talking, anyway? There are some things that just can't wait until you see a person to tell them - farewells, well-wishes, bad news, a threat or two - and that's where the telephone network comes in handy. Thank God Bell got around to inventing it!

Say you have this business partner. Say they have a really irksome voice. Wouldn't it be better to jot down a note and have it sent to them rather than have to actually talk? Or maybe you like the written words thing and the post is just too damn slow. Hey, you could probably send something off to a random number and get an interesting flow of conversation going - the possibilities? Practically endless.
